01. Our Privacy Philosophy

Most financial tools promise not to sell your data. We went a step further: we built a product that doesn't have your data to sell in the first place. Visentor is built on a "local-first" architecture, meaning your sensitive financial information stays on your device, not our servers.

02. Data we collect

We collect the bare minimum necessary to run the service:

• Account Information: Email and hashed password for Pro users to enable sync.
• Usage Data: Anonymous analytics (page views, button clicks) to improve the UI. Internal identifying IDs are never linked to your financial data.
• Payment Data: Handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your credit card number.

03. Local Storage & Encryption

Your debt plans, card balances, and APRs are stored in your browser's IndexedDB. If you are a Pro user, this data is encrypted on your device using your private key before being synced to our servers. We cannot "see" your cards or balances even if we wanted to.

04. Third-Party Services

We use a limited number of third-party processors:

• Stripe: Payment processing and subscription management.
• Postmark: Delivery of transactional emails (login codes, receipts).
• Simple Analytics: Privacy-friendly analytics that doesn't use cookies or track IP addresses.

05. Your Rights

You have the right to export your data at any time (JSON/CSV) and the right to delete your account entirely. Since your financial data is stored locally, simply clearing your browser cache will also remove it from your device.
